Ian Loggie and Chris Jones took the Class 2 title of the 2013 Britcar MSA British Endurance Championship piloting their Team Parker Racing 997 GT3 Cup to another class win (6th overall) at a rainy Donington last night. The 2-hour race started dry with all cars on Dunlop slicks but the heavens opened 20 minutes in, catching out the MacG Racing Ultima GTR of Jonathan MacGregor and Damian Hudes which spun on the chicane exit, hitting the concrete pitwall almost head-on, resulting in a safety car deployment.

The rain later stopped and strong winds quickly led to a dry racing line. Ian Loggie made way for team mate Chris jones in the Parker Porsche. The safety car was sent out again in response to Mike Millard's Rapier SR2 having spun at Hollywood and left too close to the track to be safe. The big MT900R Mosler of Morcillo and Cintrano later spun allowing the Horsepower Racing Aston Martin through for yet another overall win for drivers Paul Bailey and Andy Schulz.
