LED lights. Cheesy or cool ?

Nice ... wish they made a wide-arse version of these ...

samba-lee's linky is the new "997.2-alike" design.

I think that's a thumbs up so far, although perhaps I should keep my pennies for an impending IMS/Bore score, crack problem...

I wonder if you have to swap the flasher relay for these or if they are load balanced internally to work with the stock flasher unit.

I have run dectanes for about a year.. No issues with relays etc a straight fit
.. Quality good.. They look great .. Reaction times quicker .. But not for the purist .. :thumb:

Before you buy check the price on the Dectane website. When I bought mine, their eBay price was higher all in.

Mine have been on for about 6 months. No issues at all and look great IMHO :)

I know someone who put some leds in there 997-1 and they just looked cheesy- like saxos with "lexus lights " sorry ,

totally spoilt the car ,

I fitted Dectanes about a month ago, just before Goodwood. Personally I think they look good

I think they look good, but will they still look good in a few years time? Or become the Lexus Porsche equivalent!

... It's ok, they're not permanent - you are allowed to remove them and re-fit the originals should you wish to do so...

Yes i agree they do look good

theres probably a few different brands which differ in how they look ,

youve got the right ones :thumb:

id like those myself

I saw a 997 Turbo wearing those today (it was for sale).

There was no sign of the (incredibly expensive) OEM ones

Always go back to OEM for resale.

Never wanted to cross the line with after-market products, but I am tempted by a set of Dectanes.
