Hi,

Does anyone know if 90+ ltr petrol tanks were fitted to later 993's or would you have to opt for something like that, or was that part of some package?

I had a 95' 993 C2 and it had the usual space under the bonet & a 60+ ish ltr petrol tank, I recently replaced it with a 97' 993 and this thing has little room under the bonnet for a pencil sarpener, but could happily suck 92 litres of petrol out of a pump.

Confused.

Griffo.

As far as I know the 90L tank was an optional extra for all 993.

Griffo, just a guess, have you moved to a 4WD - these cars have way less space under the bonnet due to the front diff in there - no matter which petrol tank you have....

Hi LOJO,

Your spot on, I moved on to a 4WD machine (993 TT), but I've seen plenty of 95' 993 turbo's & C4's up close and they had similar room under the bonnet. I guess it must of been an option...

Cheers.
