I went into a really narrow carpark ( My excuse anyway!) and caught one alloy quite badly the other slightly. Is there anywhere near East Midlands that could refurb them?

TJ wheels Cradley Heath west Midlands.

They are on the same industrial estate as Footman and James classic Insurance, or they were.

Give them a try they may be able to help. :)

Or know a man who can. :D

Lepsons in Gillingham - no question. They refurbed all four of my Turbo alloys and you cannot tell the difference from new ones. I think I am correct in saying that Wicked Wheels do an on-site service and that they only work on the outer face of the wheel, whereas Lepsons need to remove the tyre and do the complete wheel and then rebalance.

Give Zentrum a call - Porsche specialists in Nottingham (run by ex Notts OPC mechanics) - they can recommend a decent place... costs c. £70 per wheel. It's the same place that's used by Notts OPC, so they are quality and should be near to you. I can't remember their name though... hope this helps, Rich

That sounds good. Thanks guys. At the risk of being laughed off the forum....... I took the car to Halfords for a parrot car kit and noticed they are now advertising chip and dent removal + alloy refurbs! Any experiences?

I want to know what a Parrot Car Kit is. Some kind of device for installing livestock into your vehicle?

It's quite good. It automatically picks up your phone when you get in the car. It mutes the stereo and uses the car speakers. £100 fitted
