It has been confirmed that my large oil leak is down to failure of the intermediate seal & will need a new engine. £21k+ VAT + Labour +VAT again, my opc has requested that I bring in my history as so they can speak with Porsche UK as it may well be done as a good will gesture?????????? as the car was first reg on the 1/10/2004 had it's first service @ 13.5k after two years. And is now on 19K I did not expect a maintence bill for £30 grand.

When the car was droped off one of the sales guys sugested it may be the intermediate seal & this happens all the time inc Boxters & would be done as a recall if out of warrenty.

Has anyone had this problem with there 996 997 or Boxter????????? & would it be done as they say a good will gesture? :?
