My Insurance:

2003 996 C2 Cab value £70K, 40 year old MD married with no convictions (amazing judging by the way I drive). Insured as my 2nd car fully comp now on 2nd year NCB to include business use up to 15000 miles per annum with a £350 excess. Living in West Sussex @ £900 PA with Norwich Union.

I don't think it's too bad.

My Insurance:

24 year old Male, living in Worcestershire, clean licence insuring a 1980 911SC fully comp, covered for business use, approx 12000 miles per year, including breakdown cover. Car is garaged and fitted with cat 1 alarm and immobiliser. £760 pa with 'Direct Choice'.

(Bit of a bargain i thought!)

Cheers Noony, he says with tongue in cheek. Here I am working in Formula One and European football, and I get called an Insurance expert. How many Insurance people out there would wish the reverse (sorry Insurance salesmen - I'm sure you are all lovely)...

Anyone want help, I shall do my best. Just renewed mine today with Admiral of all places - 33 years old, full NCB (protected), garaged, alarm and all that jazz (no tracker) and clean license in Surrey for £700...

Insurance Prof!

Hi Manek,

Mine is cheaper than that! Try Bell Direct, they also apply the same NCD onto my second car.

I'm now with Tesco after a spell with Elephant. £1200 24, single, 3yrs NCB, central Scot. '95 C4, <5000 miles, garaged etc.

Elephant were good but renewal was a wee bit of a surprise at £1600 after £1200 last year.
