Insurance 997s tip

New to this forum, where do I go for Insurance, luckily have a clean licence, max protected NCB, no points etc etc, currently with Priviledge with M3, they want £1750 with a big excess, seems a bit steep for a new 997s. Any thoughts please

Past posts on this subject have revealed only one thing.......
......there is no consistancy between companies....best thing is to ring/surf around & see what you can find.

I've gone with Elephant.com for the GT3, cheapest I could find, paying around 740.

bear in mind its a near £70k car without options...............Insurance aint gonna be cheap..........is it garaged at night and are you in a major city?

Mine is £700.. 33, 3 points and 5 years NCB. Unlimited miles,parked outside and the Mrs is on it too (she has only ever driven it once though). £1750 seems alot me. I realise its a £70k car but I find that the value never seems to make much difference...

See my thread here, I rung a bunch and in the end stayed with elephant as they cut their own quote after I asked!!?

The quotes were for 40K, 45 years old FNCB (protected) Mrs H named, garaged, 5k miles limit, LHD - bear in mind I did get one quote at 1900 but cant rememebr who from so there is a big spread out there.
