anyone know if there is a particular Porsche part number for a widebody indoor crested car cover?

I have a genuine one so they do exist. Lovely bit of kit and well put together.

Not sure on pn as got mine used from eBay :thumb:

It's silver with Porsche lettering in red on bonnet and on the storage bag.

They have different part numbers for with and without spoiler so perhaps just ask the OPC to look it up for you. Have a feeling they are in the £280-350 range new.

thank you Sir. :D

I think the part number for all 993, 1994-1998 without spoiler is :-
000 043 202 93.
Picture below of this cover.

GOT MINE FROM MY LOCAL OPC (CARDIFF) FOR AROUND 200 QUID IF I REMEMBER CORRECTLY, AND THEY POSTED IT OUT TO ME! DON'T FORGET TO MENTION THAT YOU ARE AN OWNERS CLUB MEMBER, THEY GIVE DISCOUNT THEN (EVEN IF YOU ARE NOT!!)
GREAT COVER, JUST BE CAREFUL STRETCHING IT OVER THE CORNERS, STITCHING CAN START TO COME LOOSE!

Mine is deffo a widebody cover?

It has extra pieces stitched in to the rear arches to allow for the girth.

Show off :D

Extract from Porsche Tequipment catalogue 1985-2005 below.
The cover 000 043 202 93 is a stretchy material and has no sewn in parts.
I imagine it would fit all 993 models without spoiler pretty well.
It certainly fits C2S ok for me.

........forgot to say it has "993" written on the back and "Carrrera" on the front below bumper level - or maybe the other way round. Found it on ebay in Torino for about £170.

Mine looks a little more substantial and while elasticated I wouldn't say it's stretchy. It has a lining with soft pads to prevent rubbing the paint, also has fillet pieces sewn in to accommodate wider arches.

I'll get it on and take some pics when I get a chance.

Definitely a Porsche item and tailored for wb fitment.

Hi Dom,
There must be a Porsche part number for it too ?
It should be in the Techquipment bag which contains it.

Will check it out and update.

Just bought one of these for my NB, standard cover as mentioned above best price I could find was £228 from Porsch-apart ebay shop.

Whilst browsing around for prices I noted 4 different covers :
Standard NB (which on the Porsch-apart site says does fit WB non spoiler)
RS Clubsport/GT2
RS
Turbo/C2S/C4S with fixed spoiler

No mention of a specific WB non spoiler one, looks like you've got a special one there Dom from back in the day :thumb:

or does he have a saggy bottom :dont know:

And to think I gave my original one away with the 993 when I sold it :pc:

Now on the hunt for a 964 one. Yet to price up OPC as sometimes with discount this route can be a better option
