Don’t know whether you saw this so I’ve reposted it in a new thread in case anyone else is interested/wants to comment:
I keep promising to upgrade my existing ICE.
I have the standard two speaker ICE layout of Bass and tweeter, but a previous owner has replaced the standard bass units with some Kenwood full range units with built in tweeter.
They are not very good and I still have the standard tweeters mounted in the doors doing nothing (or just the housings, I haven’t opened them up to check) how do they open?
Did you use an ICE dealer to fit your stuff or DIY?
Did your car have the 2 way or 3way speaker setup originally?
Probably a thick Question – do 993s have an amplifier?
I didn’t see any wiring for one when I fitted the head unit unless it takes speaker level inputs.
I’ve looked under the front seats and there appears to be all sorts of boxes and wires under both seats.
Can’t really tell what they are without taking the seats out
I’m also very tempted by a Becker Head unit matched to a Dension MP3 jukebox to replace my Dension MP3 head unit.
I’m just not happy unless I’m spending too much money!
