importing a used Porsche from e.c.

Hi all, I just bought a 5 year old 911 4 cab. in Italy ,I'm Italian living in the UK.

I would like to register the car in the UK but I'm struggling to get through all the paperwork required by the DVLA.

I was wondering if someone knows who could help to get the stuff sorted out (i..e porsche dealers or porsche club etc..) ?

Phone Porsche at Reading and they should be able to tell you what to do. I'm having difficulties with getting hold of a replacement dial in MPH as it is from Porsche Exclusive and having contacted the OPC in Germany who delivered the car to the first owner, not much help was forthcoming so looking for a sticker to convert to MPH and unfortunately the mechanic I have asked to obtain this appears to be having trouble. So I just drive it with the foreign plate at the moment (which in my opinion looks cooler than the UK plates. If only my dials were black life would be easier.
