Hi Guys,

My local Audi dealer is now taking deposits for the new Audi S4 cabriolet - Looks like being a real beast with with a lovely 4.2 V8 under the bonnet.

Should I let the 993 go???

Got to admit, I am VERY tempted.

Do you really expect us to say "yes"!

I don't know anything about the Audi, apart from what you have written, but I know I'd rather have a 993 over an Audi... any Audi.

Are you getting itchy feet with the 993? Time to move on to something else?

Yep, itchy feet on the 993.

Have been looking at some 996's as well as the Audi.

Decisions, decisions............

Olivia, where are you? I need some "impartial" help!

Isn't the 993 your second car? How about something a bit more "special" - a Turbo or perhaps an RS?

Audis are great. But I cant begin to imagine any audi replacing a 993.

Yep, the 993 is my second car.

I love the shape, handling and sound but I'm beginning to get a bit bored with the interior and yearn for something a tad more modern. It's also being used less and less at weekends as the kids want to do things that requires lugging stuff around and the 993's luggage holding capabilities are not fantastic!

996??

So you want a car that you can use more on an "every-day" basis?

No really, I want something that I can use more at weekends. I'm ferrying the girls between different activities and they usually carry a load of gear with them. The 993 doesn't allow me to pack the stuff in, so I have to take the (ahem!) Honda!

How about something like an Audi RS4 then? Not as "girlie" as the contertible, but practical and fast?

The new RS4 isn't available yet, its only the S4.

The RS4 will be a turbo 4.2 v8!!!!!

Oh. I was forgetting you want a new car. I was thinking about the old RS4 (or RS6 for that matter)

I'll let you off with an RS4 or an RS6. (Did some passenger laps round a sopping wet Brands in an RS4 - absolutely awesome machine, quicker than everything there other than a few Radicals !)
