What did you pay for it? I guess the rubber needs changing, it must be almost 20 years old.

What a time warp VW! Would have loved to get my hands on this, you did well to snap it up :)

Probably to much? I always do ( i think),but they all seem to catch up alittle later. It is still like new.I have the original invoice for £23578.If it was next to a new golf in a showroom, there would,nt be anything in it.

Who pays 24K for a car and then only does 92 miles a year :?:

oops - just realised what I said on the 993 forum.....

Joking aside, It is stunning though isn't it? I do have a soft spot for Golf's, and I haven't been without one for 15 years now - but never had a VR6....

I wish I hadn't seen this thread.

I'm now missing my mk2 golf gti. It was a 1987 8 valve with one owner from new. I loved that car!!

Looks minty! You definitely needed another car aswell ;)

I always have that feeling too.
You just have to be happy for yourself and with your deal.

And you have to not dodge my question :)

I have :puh:

What did you pay for it.

Not that I care, I just wonder why you won't tell anyone.

As I said, I'm not interested in what you paid for, but interested why you won't tell anybody.

Most people on Pistonheads have a hidden agenda.

Most of us don't on here.
