Hydraulic oil for bleeding turbo rear wing

Hi Everyone, I have decided to fit the Turbo rear wing on my C2s. I have bought this off Ebay and I now need to bleed the system to get on side raised enough for the spanner. Once this is done I can then strip it and send it off for painting. I have also seen posts where they are saying to buy a kit and have this fixed rather than raised via the button or speed, does anyone have any comments / advice on this ? thanks Craig

This might be of help?

I’m a little lost with what you’re trying to do. Is the hydraulic system not working so you’re looking to top it up in order to raise the wing? There is a super strong spring in each ram and it’s possible to just pull the spoiler up whilst stuffing a folded towel or something between it and the decklid a little at a time until it’s raised. You can then remove the blade but be warned, the rams fly back in very quickly due to the spring!

Thanks for the reply, I bought this off EBay and and when I came to strip it ready for painting one side would not raise enough and I wasn’t sure what fluid to use to top it up. I have ordered this now from the above pdf and I ended up taking the pipes off the bottom of the cylinders and taking the wing off manually.
