With many of us looking to sell/upgrade our 911's, I was just wondering the avg. time you keep your 911 ??

I will go first..

993 C4 - 11 months

993 C2 - 13 months (current vehicle)

993 C2 - 6 yrs

993RS - until I'm too old and crippled to get in the bucket seat!

996 C4S - 19 months, current vehicle.

Potentially will trade up to a TT in autumn which i will intend to keep for forseeable future.

Keeping mine until I can make up my mind as to what I want. Quite fancy a genuine 356 speedster but they make a 993 RS look cheap! :eek:

996 Targa - Until I got p!ssed off with the pink jibes :(
(14 months)

996 Turbo - Until the fascist bastards in power make it totally impossible to own and drive a decent car :evil:
(4 months so far)

Had my 993 for 3yrs.

Will keep the 3 until such times as i can afford / think it's sensible to buy a 97GT3. Failing that i'll flog it when i'm skint!!

4.5 years for my SSE. This is going in for a bare metal respray and some updates in the next few months.

Only had the 993 for a few months so far, but intend to keep for the forseeable, unless:

a) I stumble across a large chunk of cash and can upgrade to a TT;

b) The 997 devalues to a point equivalent to the resale of my 993 (yeah right!);

c) The wife decides she wants kids and my toy has to be sacrificed!

4 1/2 years and keeping her for the forseable future

Had my 3.2 for 18 months

Had my 993 for 3 years

Not sure what to upgrade to - thinking of buying a house here in CH and you need a minimum 20% deposit - no 100% mortgages here. :eek:
so any "spare" cash heading in that direction.Probably.

I'm just coming in to my "shall i change" season, as soon as all the nice cars come out of winter storage and people start advertising them for sale. insert "dreamy" icon here. :)
