Any long-term owners still have one of these?

This one has expired. It is a dead torch. It no longer works.

Seriously, I'm presuming it has a rechargeable battery but for the life of me cannot see how to access it.

Before I go too far and probably ruin it beyond repair, any ideas on how to get it apart?

All suggestions considered!

Thanks in advance.

might not be Porsche ? unless it's in the tech equipment catalogue ?

It's got Autolux on it but I've yet to find any details of them or the torch. It's not a new offering from Porsche, I've had it some time and then didn't buy it new. Just a nice trinket in the car, but I do like things to work.
Thanks

Does that lens unclip - can the internals be reached that way?

I've removed the bulb and it gives a limited view of the internals but there doesn't appear to be obvious signs of a battery. The plastic lens and silvered reflector are still fitted but removal doesn't seem that easy; I guess that may have to be the next try.
Looks increasingly like it's an assembled-for-life type thing but I'll keep trying. Nothing much to lose at the moment.
Thanks

Maybe it's just a reading light you plug into the cig lighter for reading maps and stuff at night before we all had smart phones.
It might have a fuse , usually the positive end has a cap you unscrew and the fuse is held in there with a spring. If it's not that it's the bulb. Some things are sealed for life but you can usually find a way in with a dremmel type tool.

I seem to recall that it worked as an ordinary torch when not being charged in the 12v socket I fitted. Everything else in the multi-socket is working fine.
