I asked this question at the OPC, but they were a little vague. The cab hood on the 996 seems to have loads of moving parts, is there any specific maintenance that should be done on them?

I got a vague comment about spraying WD40 around.

I use a bit of wd40 on the few metal bits, and just treat the rubber seals with the Zymol seal stuff. Cant really see that you can do much else.

Well as long as they fix it on warranty if it breaks I am happy. That's really why I asked the OPC the question - so as to make sure I did all the correct maintenance.
