Hi guys,

I just wanted to intro myself. Recently picked up my first 911 (had boxsters etc before). You have all been helpful in me getting me this far and so far I am very happy. A few things needed doing to it (new rear springs, aircon rad replaced) but still very happy with it.

Spec includes -

997 3.6 (base model ;-)
Dolphin Grey with black comfort leather (electric & memory)
Litronics & washers
Sunroof
PCM Nav etc
19" Lobster alloys
Sports design gearknob!
Suede rooflining
Soon to be re-trimmed steering wheel (make it thicker, thumb grips, new nappa leather etc) from Royalsteeringwheels.co.uk

Wants - Gunbo hack, swap to 19" sport design / carerra sport wheels, sports design handbrake cover, some form of bluetooth connection with the PCM, spare set of wheels for track days...!

Anyhow, no doubt you will see more of me in the near future, I also will be trying to get on some track days. Always used forums on previous cars (Range Rover, Disco 3, C63, TT's. boxa.net, etc) and can pick collective brains!!

Dont sell yourself short with the (base model) comment , :hand:

Keep and update of hoe the steering wheel turns out , im wanting somthing doing with mine aswell so keen to see the results :)

thanks chap. You are only down the road from me too, im in Cheltenham.

the steering wheel I have gone for is seen below. I needed a thicker, softer, nicer looking wheel than standard and was really impressed with this chap looking on the BMW forums.

Pick it up next Monday for fitting by him too. £150 all in.

Cannot wait...!
