headlights in europe

no mention in the handbook of whether there is a euro switch. on the presumption that there isn't and that the xenons melt those headlight converters what do i do ?

normally there is a switch hidden inside the headlamp unit....

although they have been known to take them away for the latest cars !

but rather than the convertors, masking off the top beam normally works and is all the switch would have done anyway.....

if you know how to take out the headlamp unit may be worth haveing a look inside to see if there is a cunning switch.......

In the manual for my 2005 997 it states there is a switch but you have to pop the lamp out first
