Hope to meet some other 930 owners, mine is currently in bits at my local specialist! Engine and box removed, new clutch cable being fitted and to remove the smog unit (U.S spec car) aswell as the CAT. Then a full service for the old the girl! OUCH!!!!!!!!

Yesh 930 handling is abit leary and its hard to find a good one so the 993 got my money. But i'd love to have one, painfully sexy car!

I was lucky with mine! I bought it from a friend of a friend in Holland! (long story)

The guy thats doing the work on it said, he cant find fault with it, which is a relief! I hear nasty reports about 930s having a bad 4speed box. Mine is silky smooth, whats the fuss about?

Once you get used to the ratios, its a hoot to drive! Very rewarding when everything comes together! I find the handling fine, it only gets leary if you lift mid corner! :D

Great cars. i loved mine....same as yours, a 915 gearbox. Used to scare the crap out of me when it was cold due to more air going through the intercooler. Twas my first 911 and still my favorite.

Daz dont forget your bus pass next weekend I hear they are doing a special at the tea rooms again......you get two digestives......duffers day out...
