42 and I work in a Bank so I get both barrels of 'mid-life' and 'works in the city so must have a Porsche'. I've given up retaliating to either now. Porker, your point is very true though. Having a quick pint after 'dinosaurs 5 a side' on a tuesday evening once and I was approached by a very cute twenty something who I didnt know from adam, in front of my fellow dinosaurs, with "you drive the silver Porsche convertible dont you?".

Scared the living daylights out of me, but the lads were impressed and it did the old ego the world of good. Fortunately the misses wasnt around.
