Go for PPI anyway?

I've started to see a number of 996's that are being sold privately with the benefit of an OPC 111 point inspection and warranty extended by 12 months. In such a case would you still go for an independent inspection for peace of mind, is this going over the top?

Hi Zahoor

If its being privately sold, then most on here would suggest a PPI is a good idea. If you're spending tens of thousands, then a couple of hundred squid is worth it for peace of mind alone, and easily recouped if they spot stuff that isnt picked up on the 111 check

Thanks Hendo, have to agree with you.

What areas does the 111 point check not cover that might be brought up by an independent inspection? I'm assuming that it will be anything that is not covered by the warranty !?

Thanks
