Its the way the thing drives, and sounds.
116k it drives so well.
I picked it up last Monday night, and let me tell you, its so Porsche.
PAS
PAB
3.6
It drives better than my old 993

So there's alist of things Ive got to do for the MOT
I stuck a new drivers door lock on it yesterday.
Oh ,am, that solid door clunk shut is back.
3 hours of fiddleyness.
Imterior trim off, door frame off , then lock out, and replaced.
Then stick the lot back together.
So good now its done.
However, now there's.....
Rear shocks.
Bilsteins from Matt in Beckenham for £350
I believe this is an easy job.

Rack.
Recon rack from 01179602906 £250 inc delivery
Much more involved, Ill get it on and nearly right, then get it traked by Kwikfit down the Hill.

Here's the cutie though.
Ive got a drip from the front oil cooler.
Itcould be the coller, or it could be the pipework.

Now you never buy a second hand oil coller, they're usually full of swarf.
Matt has them for about a two-er.

How do you get to them?

Is it front bumper off ?

Front bumper off :thumb: You might get it out via the wheel arch but might as well clean everything out whilst you're in there.

IIRC Chief had his refurbed for a very good price :dont know: Mine was caked in cak through some slight misting which I got nipped up but will likley go the full pipework refurb route in due course.

Why not take a look at your rusty nuts on the oil thermostat for a laugh :nooo:

Hi Zingers, can you point me towards a mopdus operandi?
Inc thermostat.

Also, how do I bypass the heater controls so that hot air always goes into the cabin?
Is there a flap valve somewhere?

Stutts, just look at my thread 'The Red Baron' from page 2 onwards it all about taking all the oil pipe work off. Everything you'll need to know is there.
Good luck, and it will need doing. We had PeterS' all off on Saturday, nowhere near as bad as mine thought, but still crying out for cleaning.

If you want to do that then you need to 'fix' the mixer flaps in the kick panels I suppose in answer to what is a problem of always having hot air :dont know:

ToreB's site will assist:
