Hey guy's, just wondering if someone could recommend somewhere to do the geo on the GT3 done other than standard factory settings as per OPC's around Sevenoaks, Kent area?

It seems like the knocking is all sorted out now with the front suspension, but seems incredibly light at the front end now on cornering so I can only assume I need to get the geo sorted out. There was no point in doing it again after they rebuilt the suspension after putting the new springs on until I knew they'd fixed it.

(I know CG arew the best but I just can't spare the time to make it up there atm)

Cheers

Clifford Lowe at 'Project Nine' in Marden.

£90 for the check and £75 per corner iirc

That's great news for those on a budget.

It's like pay-away for geo :thumb:

Within four months, I can have a car that doesn't crab its way down the road.

Give Ken a shout at Nine Excellence in Horley near Gatwick.

When I was in there a month ago he quoted c£250.00 for full check and adjust

Assuming all adjusters and suspension parts freed up ok. Which I imagine is less of an issue in a GT3 than in a 22 year old 964 :)

My full check and adjust on all four wheels was £250 + VAT = £300

When I asked Cliff afterwards how much any future re-checks would be he said £75 + VAT = £90.

I assumed it would cost £90 + £300 but from what '917k' has said I can see that the cost would be £90 OR £75 per corner, not £90 AND £75 per corner.

Apologies for the confusion.

Cracking, thanks gents.

Took it out yesterday again and front end felt so light need to get it sorted asap.

Another endorsment for Cliff at Project Nine - excellent outfit :thumb:

Precision Porsche, near Newick, East Sussex.

They've done mine twice and know their onions!

Took the motor to project nine engineering yesterday......Mrs drove the car down and agreed it didn't feel right.

Cost £210 and they provided a print out of Geo before and after, which was completely off. Pretty much no camber at the front end which explains why it was so light!

Drives like it's on rails now, if you haven't had your geo done since you've owned your car I suggest you get it done at a specialist, not OPC as they're only allowed to reset to original factory settings. Can't imagine it's anything that can affect warranty either.

Big thumbs up for project 9, they will drop you off and pick you up from Marden station for free so really easy to use if you work in London as there's a direct train to London Bridge.
