Front brake discs and pads

I'm looking to replace my front discs and pads.

I've seen on eBay a full set of Brembo's for £288. Is that a fair price as I have no idea.

Thanks

Do Brembo make discs and pads? :?:

I wouldn`t bother with the Ebay stuff and would go for the following

-Original Front Discs c£240

- Textar (same as genuine Porsche) Front pads are c£65 from frazerparts

You could try your OPC but they are unlikely to be cheaper as they will charge you c£150 for the pads.

As above get the Textars from Frazerparts, but I would (and did) go for the Sebro discs from ECP, with discount these are currently £153.60 the pair.

The Sebros are allegedly cast in the same foundry as the ones sold as 'Porsche'.

They have been excellent on my 993, and have been tested on road and circuit.

I bought front pads for the 993 in Octocber last year. I think from memory the Textars were £70ish + vat, Pagids were 60ish, but I went for the EBC, (£80) because of the better bite from cold. The whole lot can be fitted in 1.5 hrs.
