I took one look and thought you were advertising the new show on MTV. I watched an episode after the pubs at the weekend. Its called 'Pimp my Ride'

Well known rapper Xzibit (no I struggled too!), takes worthy peoples wrecks and spends about USD 30,000 having it 'done up for them'. (why not spend the money on a decent car to replace the wreck?). In true reality TV style, Xzibit racks up to some unsuspecting punters house, and when they've stopped screaming, drives their car off to a warehouse, where a crew looking suspiciously like the A team, spend a fortune producing something that even the producer of the 'fast and the furious' would have thrown out for being too over the top. In an emotionally charged (err should'nt that be emotionally disturbed?...) finale messrs Face, Hannibal, T and Murdoch weep unashamedly, as the punter undergoes some sort of outerbody experience. And we think our reality TV is getting a bit far fetched. This is the list of things that 'Christine' had done to her 92 Honda Civic so that her grandma would feel more comfortable when she gets taken to the hospital.

They even replaced her existing petulant alarm system with one that said "Step away from the vehicle, this is Xzibit!". Presumably it went on to say "or I'll shout monotonous words and phrases in a mildly rythmic fashion until your ears bleed!"

Additions & Improvements: -Paint, lavender with racing stripes down the center -New tires and rims -Leather massage seats -CD/DVD player -Playstation 2 -A sound system -A new grill -Sunroof -Lamborghini doors

I'll try the picture importer to see if it works.

O

Quite fancied having a look at an new SL500 instead of the 996...

Would that be a bad idea then?

I'm not buying the M5 for a number of reasons...

It's not really a sports car, using it for 40k miles per annum would seriously dent my wallet (especially at £4+ a gallon and a very heavy right foot) and it just doesn't excite me.

I still drive around in a 12 month old C2 Cab which I;ve had from new and that's great fun. If you look at the figures and regardless of how much dosh you have, a new 996 costs about £25k per year just to own, and that's without depreciation or bad selling and buying and if I were to change to a C4S cab it would be just for the sake of it.

I can't decide what to do, so for the time being I'm going to stick to the cars I have. The one mistake we did make was to buy the Mini Cooper for Mrs Mogsyman and not the S. The Mini is a great car, but the Cooper is sooooo slow is feels dangerous.

The problem is when the sweet jar is always full of sweets.........where's the fun in sweets?
