Luckily i still get to see top gear thanks to BBC prime - even if the programmes are 3 years old.

fifth gear last night was excellent, I have a little soft spot (Hmm) for VBH and the lambo lap she did was great, then they took an MC12 for a spin literally quality entertainment.

Agree on fifth gear - that guy with the masser was so entertaining, didn't he also buy an ex-Schumacher F1 car AND an Enzo? A true petrolhead as he didn't even seem that bothered about hitting the armco in his MC12!

yes i agree, but i cant very easily pop down to dixons !!

I've investigated getting some UK TV over here, but they want me to buy some mega package, including a motorised dish, just to get a FEW uk channels.

And i dont really want to have to receive Gay TV just to get ITV as well -

sorry just spotted where you are, we have a flat in switzerland and the peoples republic (management commitee) have ordained that we receive BBC choice and loads of Italian nonsense very sad loads of singing. One year we got BBC1 and then you realise how good it is. see you have loads of snow still also

its actually a good thing - it means i dont slump in fron tof the tv all night, but a bit of variation is nice - no snow where i am, but above about 1500 metres there is still some.

my other half shared a bus with the TG team from the TV bafta's the other day - i asked her if she'd told Jezza he cant drive for toffee... she said she was tempted and to mention that 911's are far too classy for him

scary thing was she said that James May looked quite hansome in real life ! WTF! i'm concerned (at least he has a 911 though - now making Jezza the odd one out of the 3!)
