Gents,

I've just fitted a Momo wheel mounted to their Porsche boss. With a single or double connector horn neither work.

The Porsche Cup wheel still works, so it ain't a fuse.

Any thoughts? I thought they were plug and play?

Chris

Its the earth deutcher.
If you use the double, earth one.
If you use the single, earth the funny clip at the back.
You're probably insulating somewhere.
Have you exchanged the trim ring, thats the round brass ring on the base of the hub adapter >boss< thats held in with three small philips headed screws?
This is how the eleck-trickery gets down the wire.

D'oh

Ah the trim ring!

Still got the standard one. Where do I get the one I need?

Chris

The old one is the one you use.
Undo the three screws holding it in place, and pull off, keeping wire intact.
Feed it through.
Thread the wire through the new hub adapter, and screw in with the three momo screw

piece of cake

Thanks bud, ill check :)

Chris

Chris,

If you're still stuck give me a shout and you can look at my installation, I recently fitted the momo prototipo and associated boss and the horn works just fine.

I also did a complete horn strip and refurb - most satisfying.

Steve

Thanks Steve :)
