does anyone have any comments on fitting the above - i've seen that a co called Brey Kraus in the us does a fitting kit for the passenger seat, but i was wondering if there was any other options?

Not sure you would want the fully plumbed in version I have in my track car ;-)

depends on what you want to get up to....

I have a smaller sized Firemaster 600g extinguisher, which is mounted on the side of the passenger footwell area

mine is the one in black...

ab_1.g

works well for the road car.... in is prob' does more for effect....

if I was lucky enough to have a proper trackday machine as per Ian then I would have a larger fixed unit....

I've bought a £10 effort a while back but haven't fitted it yet.

Mine also came from Halfords - fitting a system seemed a little extreme!

to clarify - im not looking for a fully plumbed in system - what i was looking for was something that maybe fitted onto to something that was already in the car, like the front seat mounts etc. i dont really want to start drilling holes in my car.

But if there is a good location for drilling a fitting an ext, please tell me.

sadly 993 doesn't have any such pre-designed places

just needs to be screwed into the side of the passenger footwell area on the the centre consol

unless you place it somewhere in the rear.... ?
