fabspeed gen 1 supersport

Hi gents and ladies,

I'm considering replacing my standard 996 turbo exhaust for a gen 1 fabspeed super sport.

The car is only used for weekend fun undergoing approx 3k miles a year.

Like allot of turbo owners I want the car to sound as special as is the turbos performance.

Am I making a mistake going for the fabspeed, I have agreed a very good second hand price circa £600 but am nervous about moving away from the standard set up, I don't want to spoil the turbo with a chav/boy racer exhaust.

All opinions welcomed, driving myself mad considering what to do

I don't know anything about their reputation but the Fabspeed Maxflo is the best-sounding Turbo exhaust I've heard yet. There are links to it in the threads above.

Fabspeed stuff is supposed to be pretty good. I know Jon Mitchell (JMG Garage Bournemouth) fits them as part of his 944 turbo upgrades and he's researched fairly extensively.
Depending on the exchange rate you can get a good buy and people have said they arrive fairly quickly too.
