Exhaust Tips Re-paint?

Has anyone ever re painted exhaust tips on PSE? black looking worn....

No idea if done before, but proper prep a tin of manifold (High Temp) satin black paint would work.

I used to think that, especially as the gen 1 chrome, 2 sized tips looked so good. However, only following purchase and admiring from various angles does the style sink in.

Best from slightly afar or from an elevated position - they actually stand out quite a bit. Just my opinion/observation.

GT4's advice will probably work well.
