Hi all,

I need to top up my engine coolant and not sure which one to buy... I asked Hartech when I picked up my car from them a few months ago and at first they said to top it up with a little water but after that to use any Porsche approved one. I was wondering if anyone has a specific one they can recommend?

Thanks,

Thanks GT4,

I have read somewhere (probably one of your old posts) that it needs to be like for like or the same as what's currently in there which is why I asked Hartech which one they used. I'll give them a call first thing tomorrow.

Thanks again!

Correct.

Mix HOAT and OAT coolants (for example) and you get a nasty gel like result (no good for pump or coolant flow) or a metal salt precipitate (again, not good for pump).

I would doubt Hartech use anything not compatible with OEM.

Great thanks again, it could have easily have led to a nasty mistake. Will confirm with them tomorrow.
