Wonder if anyone can help. I need to make a fuse in my girlfriends mini switch using a toggle switch on the dash (to act as a battery reset due to a wiring loom error that BMW want to put a new loom in for!!!!!)

Basically, if i pull the fuse out and then put it back in it resets the BCM1 module so we can lock the car as it has a deadlock problem so wont lock the car without resetting first. Ive tracked it down to this fused circuit and if i pull the fuse, and then put it back in everything is fine.

So, i need to get the power from the fuse, to the toggle switch and then back again. Would one of these work?

or does this just tap the original fuse and not allow me to turn the circuit off?

Just thought i would ask to save tearing all the panels out to get to the wire from the back of the fusebox

thank you

Looks to me like it just taps the circuit for a live feed, not a switch.
