ECU Repair

Hi,
I have a 993 convertible with starting issues. It is currently in the main dealers in Faro awaiting news from the factory about the ECU. If it can’t be sorted I will need to send the box to a specialist in the UK who can repair them.
It has a OBD2 port but the computer is OBD1.
Are there any recommendations, I have tried Autotronics in Leicester but they don’t service this model.

When we were having an issue with my car the ECU was sent off to be tested, the garage I use does a lot of high end remapping so I would have confidence in whoever they use, I’ll drop them a message and get a name
