ECU Remapping

I have been looking on the AMD website at their stage 1 tuning for 993-

For £400 they do rolling road before and after, plus the remap which gives an extra 10bhp and 8lb/ft.

They claim better driveability, smoother power, and better throttle response.

Who's had their 993 chipped here? Is it worth it? What do you notice that's different?

not a 993 owner(as yet)....but i have had them re-map my Corrado VR6..............certainly felt better and pulled harder to the redline..........their figs can be a bit optimistic at times tho especially with the 20v VAG group cars

as an Amdtechnik regular.. I would say that it depends on the exhaust system that you have.....
