i have a problem with my 1990 c4.totally randomly the immobiliser either works or not.eventually it will and will disengage and the car will start.also when driving the 4-wheel warning ligjt will suddenly light up.....could it be an ecu problem?????

If the immobiliser is a factory unit then you can contact the following company who were invoved/made the alarm/security systems. Well to 993's anyway not sure about the earlier model :

I would not have thought the ECU had much to do with the security.

I have only owned 2 wheel drive 911's so can't help with your "4" problem. Sounds like it may need to go to a specialist for that problem.
