Do memory seats not recall lumbar position?

Strange request perhaps but I've had a bad back for a bit and am setting the seats in my turbo with maximum lower lumbar support. Car has memory seats.

However each time I close the car up and return I have to reset the lumbar setting. Car just will not remember it. I've tried it with both keys and whatever I try with the memory buttons the seats return to normal setting.

Quite a PITA when every single time you get in you have to reset the lumbar.

Does anyone know if this is normal?

Have you stored your seat position verbatim from the driver's manual? It sounds like it is just remembering a previous seat position.

Just checked the manual, and it should store lumbar support too.

Recalling seat position
The seat position can only be called up when the
vehicle is stationary.
1. Switch on the ignition or
open the driver's door.
2. Press person button until the seat has reached
its final position.
The setting of door mirrors and lumbar
support
will be completed even if the person
button is not kept depressed.

It's just the side bolsters it won't remember.

Hi guys, sorry so slow to get back.

None of this has worked. The car still won't store the lumbar position.

Starting to suspect a fault.
