Had an inner rack end replaced and now my steering wheel is a bit off center.my indy now wants me to have a 4 wheel alignment and I feel a simple tracking job will do it.

Is he trying to upsell me?

Probably get away with just sorting the tracking out at the front, assuming the rest of the geometry is sound.

Thanks that's what I figured.
His stand point is "that's the way it is with Porsche"

Some OPCs are offering an approximate £50 post winter check up where they check and adjust the geometry as part of the price. I've found this deal at OPC Portsmouth and Bournemouth

If you've not had a decent alignment in the last year, might as well get it done now.

Have to agree with Dan - RPM did a full geometry on my 4S and it made the car even better than before.

A week later took it around Millbrook with CAT Driver Training and even the instructor commented on the handling.

Worth every penny if put in the right hands.

I used to be very sceptical about the wonderous benefits that a decent GEO job would give.

I'm not now.
