Hi all,

So I have decided to make custom gauges for the 996's.

Inspired by CSR EVO (RPM Technik) and GT3, also being proud that I own a Carrera, I decided for a small model name and metallic grey akin to the GT3. With two main differences;

"Carrera" - keep it stock-like

"GT3" inspired - consolidate the individual RPM segments into one. keep it simple and minimal.

Thoughts? Also do you know what company could make such a dial?

thanks!

p.s. first time using Gimp so be kind :-D

:bump:

where can I get these dials manufactured ?

Have a search around the site for Reap Automotive or Heiler.

I like the green numbers on the black face, like Ruf or the 991 50th Anniversary cars.

I did mine at Reap Automotive Design. My local OPC took the cluster out and I hand delivered it to Reap who fitted guards red in the centre and white to the left and right just like the photo above. His work is of high quality. This was about 8 years back.

Hi all thanks for your suport!

Happy to share that Julian from Reap got back to me :). He sent me some dials that he did for the 996, so I took the liberty of adapting one (attached). He is also the producer of the CSR dials for reference.

Will keep you up to date on the progress

Hi all. Resurrecting the thread. Getting no-where with responses to queries for dials - my 996 came with blue dials from new, but these have bubbled over time.

Looking for someone who can recommend a quality outfit who can supply new ones.

Any recent experience of business who do this would be great.
