Following on from a post about chargers I bought a charger MSX 5 and these leads, connected to battery and it showed RED, so charged battery charge shows fully charged (no7 light lit green) disconnected charger and within an hour its gone to AMBER from the GREEN? Surely after a full charge it shouldn't, was told it was new battery when had car from OPC 9 weeks ago.
Done a Google search and it doesn't seem unusual, so what use are these leads if they don't tell truth!!
Anyone else tried them???
How do I know how old a Genuine Porsche battery is, there must be a code on it somewhere knowing them!

I have the same charger and cables as I work at sea. I used them for the first time last time I went to sea but when I came home the red light was flashing. When I turned the key I expected the car not to start but the battery seemed to be fully charged. Very odd
