French ban for speeding Clapton

Clapton was caught driving at 53mph above France's speed limit
Rock star Eric Clapton has been suspended from driving in France after being caught speeding at 134mph.
The 59-year-old was stopped by police after driving his Porsche 911 Turbo at 53mph above the speed limit near Merceuil in western France.
He was given a 750 euro (£515) fine and his UK licence was confiscated. A court will determine the length of his ban in France although he may drive elsewhere.
After his suspension Clapton posed for photographs with French police.
After paying his fine, Clapton left the scene in his Porsche - this time in the passenger seat with his secretary behind the wheel.
The 16-time Grammy Award winner will have to recover his driving licence through diplomatic means, police said.

I'm told allways to take a photosopy driving license to france,

if they confisgate your license you have to either go to france or the french embassy in london in person to get it back again

If they take the photocopy obviously no need
