Can anyone tell me why cabrio cars seem to be cheaper than coupes? Continuing my search for my first 911, I've come across a couple of nice-looking cabrios for a good £3-4k cheaper than the equivalent coupe. Are they more of a pain to keep or is it just that they're not such good driver's car so don't attract the enthusiasts as much and so have depreciated quicker???

for the UK it is just not as popular...

demand is also much lower, the Cab is more like a niche model.....

whereas in the US it is very popular...!

I guess a great proportion of 911 drivers are enthusiasts who's main interest is the handling of the car (esp on track) and less so the enjoyabillity of the cabrio/targa on a sunny Sunday. Even Hendo is waking up and joint the hard club!
(but is it still auto? :D ) while Sundeep is still wabbling half a lap behind..... hee hee heee
