CGT looking lovely in Cobalt

Cobalt? Makes a change from silver i suppose. Not a huge fan of cobalt meself but did see an orange CGT on the web once - holy moly, it was sweet!!

I've always liked it on Boxsters. Looks good on a 997 too I think. Agree, makes a change from the usual silver!

Think i read somewhere that the 'new' cobalt on 997s is water based and more washed out than the previous solvent based cobalt that you'd find on say a 996.

Not sure as to whether that's the case but i saw a pic of a 997GT3 in cobalt and it wasn't doing it for me - would look better in the flesh perhaps.

Generally not for me but works on that car!

And we have a new entry for my most favourite car ever.

For sale on ebay: 1 child

See here for my other items: one kidney, grandmother etc.

It is nice to see one in a different colour. Just put my house up for sale!

Cobalt generally looks stunning... is it just me but why does that CGT look slightly cheap in that colour?

Whatever, any CGT, any colour, I'd still love one any day... even in beige!

Dare i say that i find it a bit girly on all models?!

My old 944S2 was Cobalt, not exactly a CGT but it is a great colour

couple of things:

1. is this over-priced - thought they were nearer the low 2's? sure i read this somewhere, maybe Evo... <not that i could even afford to buy the spare wheel!>

2. Dunc - i had wondered if the solvent based paints went out at or before the 993 model - but just a guess based on my Arena TT being waterbased.

A 2006 car will still be under warranty, so that is a bargain.

Think most of the OPC 997 TT dealer demo's came in this colour and it seems to work with a grey interior but not for me.

Saw this car at the OPC before it went out to client - it looked absolutely stunning. Nearly offered my right arm on the spot.
