Hello all
I am new to the forum and the Porsche world. I was looking into 335i before I went to Porsche days event in the Benelux and realised that there are more exciting options out there. I am based in Belgium so obviously my options are slightly different (albeit more expensive) than in UK.

Willing to spend up to 20k (eur) and have a second weekend car and not to suffer too much depreciation. I think I will keep the car for 3 years.

I don't think I will be doing track, so just trashing around a bit. Naturally this lands me in the 996 or Cayman category (don't mind US import). Read quite a bit about the two cars and their comparison. Somehow leaning tw Cayman S 3.4 (2006) due to exclusiveness or maybe I just got scared off 996 reliability issues since gen. 2 is usually above 20k mark here on the mainland.

Grateful for your thoughts?
Simon

Get a 996 - silly cheap, a 911, no depreciation. What more do you want?

I believe a Cayman S 3.4 (2006) & 996 will have the same "potential" reliability issues

Good luck with whatever you decide :thumb:
