Hi all.

I am thinking of getting some sort of carpet over mat as these days where I am things can get a bit muddy!!

I searched for "over mat" in places like Porsche Shop but to no avail I resorted to eBay!!

Here is couple of things I found but has anyone get a better recommendation pls?

Option 1 - carpet over mat, my concern is that will this carpet not move when laid over the original carpet mat? Also, a bit inexpensive to be good (I always think you get what you pay for)!! Here is the link.

Option 2 - go for rubber mat, again couple on eBay but for £20, can it be any good?

Option 3 - anything you guys can recommend?

Thanks.
:)

Those ebay ones will be cack :nooo: If you haven't already got the OPC mats (Although sounds like you have and you want triple layering?) with retaining clips I'd go for these. Not cheap but the best never is  Although there is a cheap option Here

What the hell am I doing on the 993 forum :?:
But while I'm here.
Taylor made. pop along to any small carpet shop with your paper template.
Choose your carpet and colour.
Return a week later ta dar your perfect mats :thumb:
They are doing a better trade in mats than in carpets.

Berber twistpile in a biscuit fleck with orange undertones is very popular I believe :wack:

Avoid the shagpile :hand:

Thanks guys, yes you are correct I that the car has the OP carpets so I am just trying to put a layer on top of that to protect it more.

Those at Design 911 look good, particularly in terracotta colour, good possibility. About the Berber with organ side, I have that in my lounge so will give it a miss!

Thanks Waz for that suggestion, it might be a good idea as I get to choose exactly what colour goes better with existing carpet. I take it they will do some kind of sawing around it so it does not fall apar? I might ask a local one I know and compare costs and options.

I take it rubber over carpet is no good then, or at least not tried.
