Can anyone translate error codes into English?

When my friendly local OPC gave me a diagnostic print out this morning for my recently purchased 2007 C4S, which was supplied by another marque dealer from within their group, there were four error codes showing.

I didn't have time to ask the dealer for detailed explanations or for that matter I didn't really feel it was right to impose as they had taken their time to help me out with details of the car and a demo of the various systems etc.

Please can anyone on here give me some background to the codes, what they mean and if I should be concerned?

Bose amplifier, external PN 997 645 334 33 - fault code 800A - seems to work fine to me!

GATEWAY PN 997 610 107 03 - fault code 8003 - I don't know what this part is.

PARKASSISTANT PN 996 618 115 04 - fault code 6 - seems to be working

POSIP PN 997 618 217 08 - fault code C140 - is this airbag related?

Stonehaven - I have a colleague lives up there.
Really should have cleared the faults as these could have been caused years ago and been rectified. Commonly faults are raised when unplugging the battery - especially air bags.
Once the faults are cleared see if they come back again, if not everything is ok. If any do come back then further investigation may be required - but like you say it all works and none of them seem life threatening.

However as you have just bought it from their group I'd give the garage you purchased it from a call and tell them their sister company has found faults that you want rectified. I am sure they will direct you back to the OPC and cross charge for their time with no cost to you if bought within the last 3 months.

This is the airbag ecu - why on earth would an OPC do this then quote a £400 part number? they know to clear the ecu mem so why worry a customer? If you had an ecu fault the airbag warning light would be on.

If the car has no warning lights then i would forget all of the above and enjoy the car.

Thanks for the feedback. I am due some wheel nuts from the jag dealer to be swapped over next week so I will take the report in with me and ask them to check / reset with OPC.
