I've seen two possible C4Ss at specialists...

One is an 02/52 car, v good spec including X51 power upgrade but no PSE, 28k miles £44k. Has boxster red interior which I'm not entirely convinced by, but looks nice with the seal grey.

The other is an 04/04 car mega spec inc more or less everything except X51, but 44k miles, £43,500

On the face of it, would the higher miles of the 04 car (yes I know buy on condition) put you off? I'm drawn to it because its a newer car, but I plan to do lots of miles myself and thinking its already got a 16k mile head-start which is bad from a resale point of view...

There's a ONE OWNER 02/52 C4S at Autobahn at the moment... 56k miles, Seal Grey with black, but not much spec - £37,995

Was looking at it at lunchtime - looks in good nick and at least you'll be able to find out ALL its history!

They have no less than 5 other C4S - but all tiptronic...

I hear Damian is selling (thinking of, posted today) 2002 sub 40k and is in good nick, cause he drives like a girl
save a few k and buy from a good source ?

does X51 make a difference ?

Yep, I drive it like a girl.....Sabine's her name

But seriously, the X51 is a rare, rare option, I've only seen it a few times, mostly on Anniversary models. Whether or not the average person on the street could appreciate it I don't know, they probably concentrate on visible options rather than the hidden. As Ade said PSE can be retrofitted so no big deal on that one.

Mine will go up for sale as soon as I get a favourable settlement figure and have her 48k service and MoT. I have to say I'll miss her very much it's been a wonderful car, very, very hard to beat.

Oh, and she's been known to outdrag the odd GT3 on Kemmel at Spa. Use her 4wd to full advantage keeping up with GT3s at the 'Ring.
