Love them all! Can we have a picture of the pink one in place next week pretty please 🙏

I still have a naked rear; one day I will make a decision as to what to do with it. I'm genuinely tempted by "Sport Classic", but not enough to spend almost £500 on one. Nothing to do with being judged by the bellicose Boomer brigade, that seems oddly attracted to Porsche; which they wash more than they drive 🤷‍♂️.

I did notice your other post, where you had pushed your car to breaking it. Bravo! They're for driving, and exploring the limits of both our own ability, and of the car. Turning brake discs red, and shredding a bit of tyre, in a suitable location of course, then getting out listening to the click of metal contracting as it cools whilst smelling the heat and rubber is pure heaven. Having said that, I really enjoy donuts in snow, and ice with the winter set on; my daughter, when she was younger, used to giggle herself silly in the car.

I think they look a bit naff, but I don't care, I bought it to drive and have fun, I bet it will really upset any purists wandering past. My wife and lad had fun making them for me.
Sport Classic would look good on yours, but then so would a plain "911" in the correct font and size to suit it.

I am hard on my cars and bikes but they also do get looked after properly, if they need money spending then they get it, they're mechanical things and you can use them hard and be mechanically sympathetic at the same time, oil changes every few months, lots of preventative maintenance that is probably over the top, but racing taught me not to take chances with anything electrical/mechanical.

These 3d prints are only stuck on with blobs of glue that is basically like a clear version of blue-tac, there is a little blob of it sticking out and it looks a bit rough but a blind man on a fast horse won't notice, I'll put the proper one back once we've had our fun.

If you think changing the colour of an S upset people, try changing the headlight lenses to yellow.🤯
It's ok when it's your car, other people can like it or they're wrong. The trial wrap confirmed it was a good call to go ahead with purchasing the yellow covers.

I'm very tempted to have a crazy wrap for this winter season, something loud and in your face.
Race colours or a paint splat type design.

Then take it off after the winter driving season.

But the temperatures out here apparently plays havoc and people have said it ruins the underlying paintwork when you take the wrap off and the original paint on my car is excellent.

This was a test fit of yellow PPF my installer did a few months ago. I decided to go clear in the end, but I was 50:50 with going yellow which I like a lot.

I think your yellow lenses look cool @FZP!

The lens on yours @Neven does seem to clash, although if you painted your headlight surrounds in body colour, or experimented with a black vinyl surround with the yellow lens, it would look far better. Covering the surround makes the light look smaller, and therefore any film would be a single break, rather than two breaks as now. If you see what I mean 🤷‍♂️. The DCL looks quite busy behind the film too.

I've always loved yellow lenses, and will be experimenting with mine at some point.

Speaking of which, did you try out the black vinyl surrounds on your headlights @plavix ?

Plavix nailed it regarding getting the yellow film to work on a red 997. I think that looks f******** mega.

I need to get the lenses replaced first; then I'm going to ask @Chief really nicely to hold my hand so I don't ruin the vinyl with my chocolate covered fingers 😂

Gulf or Martini livery? I always wanted either of those when mine was Atlas Grey. It's a bit late now 😂 Martini looks best on a white car; the understated one @MaxA has on his looks cool but subtle. Gulf looks great, but also quite colour dependent. A black livery would snap, but silver apparently goes quite well with sea green, medium blue, emerald green, and turquoise.

Perhaps just paint the wheels and mirror covers, not body colour obviously, similar to an RS style.

Hmm, if you do get it wrapped, and it does degrade the paint . . . well . . . you could always . . . you know . . . change the colour 🤷‍♂️

I was thinking maybe a complete Martini wrap so it looks like a white Martini car. Or one of those crazy paint splat designs.

As promised, the purple/pink one for this coming week.
I spent a bit more time on this one, the print is better and I used proper fixing stuff, I might leave it for a while.
