I looked at a 84/85 targa and the only thing it had listed as options on the sticker was C16. I think that means UK spec , but does any one know what the spec actually was?

Thansk

Do a search on the site - somewhere there is a link to the definitive option code list. It's on the website of one of the independent Porsche specialists, just can't remember which !

All the option codes I have are M codes, and there is no M16

i HAVE FOUND THE FOLLOWING LINK THAT SEEMS TO GIVE ALL THE OPTION CODES

http://www.hartech.u-net.com/Docs/options.pdf

It does confirm that C16 is a Uk car, but it doesn't tell me what the spec should be !!!

I'll keep on looking

Colin

PS Nick i've just had a look at your web site , after you job on the RS rep I can see why you have a thing about rust

"C16" means UK spec. The exact same car you'd get from a UK dealer. More specifically.... I think the wiring loom & air-con spec differs for UK spec compared to Cyprus or Hong Kong or Japan where the components have to cope with different & more extreme heat/moisture environments. So "C16" means same as & designed for the UK.

Could someone who knows please advise on any differences between a C16 and a C16 import? I understood that the only difference was that the alarm was on a different frequency.

About to buy a new 997TT and concerned by the views on another thread that a dealer will not support you in any way?!

Or do dealer sell C16 imports themselves?

Many thanks might get it today if all is well!
