New to the forum, I am looking to purchase a 996 in the next month or so. I Have been reading the comments on engine problems with the 996. Are the problems limited to specific years / mileage etc. Are the newer 2000 + cars less likely to have engine failure. Any info / comments appreciated. aditionally are manuals more robust that autos.
