Bumper Scratch

Pretty gutted at the moment. Only had the car two weeks, everything was looking good. Then some ar*ehole parked in my spot in the underground car park. This being London the car parks are like shoe boxes. So whilst attempting to get into the only remaining spot I managed to scratch the front bumper on a post... Not evenly mildly happy. It's not a huge scratch, almost a graze really, probably a thumbs width as I was hardly moving.

Question is what's the best way to fix this? Is there any way to smooth it out / cover it / replace it / paint it? Guess no one else could probably notice the scratch but now I know it's there my eyes are drawn to it...

To top it all off I've just noticed that I've got a small crack in the windscreen just above the bonnet... All from the same drive! Talk about unlucky, up until that point the world was a happy place.

mate, i know how you feel. look at my recent post "scratched 911". it's not us porsche drivers that are at fault - it's 3rd parties! anyway, when you find a solution let me know since I may be in the market for a temporary fix to my scratch before a respray.

cheers, richard

Cheers, I noticed the 'scratched 911' post just after I started the thread. Wish I could say this one was 3rd party but sadly it was my fault, or the swine that parked in my easy access spot in the garage.

Thanks for the link, I'll take a look. Hopefully they can sort it rather than picking up a whole new bumper assembly

Still at least I had a damn good drive.
